>CREATIVITY>Faith does not come
FAITH DOES NOT COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT

Once loved, outcast upon the street
Treading sharp-stoned roads upon bare feet
They're bloodshed brings no sympathy
From souls clouded by such apathy
Still they fight on, physically tortured and torn
Ablaze with the fire of the Lord to whom they've sworn
Eyes are widened by courage and bravery
Be steadfast and God will not forsake thee

A brown-eyed boy, orphaned because of belief
Alone he cries tears of sorrow and grief
Faced by a sandy city full of his foes
Who haunt his nights like the coos of crows
Even the kind man does not offer refuge
To this boy faced by isolation and deluge
Until he returns showing the battle scars he bears
And God relieves the man of his faithless fears

Homes of the innocent stoned and set on fire
Families branded traitors, charlatans and liars
By their fellow men, their fellow villagers
Whose murky faith has turned them into pillagers
Minds of children are forever impressioned
By these scenes of terror, trauma and oppression
They'll not forget these acts of shame
Nor will they be so quick to dismiss Baha'u'llah's name

Faith does not come to those who wait
Just as happiness is nobody's fate
Those who face up to struggle and strife
Know the true gladness of this life
